1858. Pencil, watercolour and bodycolour on paper ca. 17x25 cm (7x10 in). A very good watercolour. Original attractive watercolour sketch of Cova de Inglesa, the harbour of Sao Vincente capital Mindelo, from a series of sketches made by Captain Dominick Sarsfield Greene for his "Views in India, from drawings taken during the Seapoy Mutiny," Thos. Maclean: London, 1859. Provenance: Sir Alexander Moncrieff (1829-1906) and thence by descent.
