Ca. 1857. Pencil, watercolour and bodycolour on paper ca. 9x16,5 cm (4 x 6 ½ in.). A recently matted very good watercolour. Original attractive watercolour sketch of the lighthouse of Port Said at night from a series of sketches made by Captain Dominick Sarsfield Greene for his "Views in India, from drawings taken during the Seapoy Mutiny," Thos. Maclean: London, 1859. Provenance: Sir Alexander Moncrieff (1829-1906) and thence by descent.
